Concepts practiced
I used classes and object-oriented programming for the first time, building a Card, a Deck, and a Hand that each knew how to do their own job. I learned how OOP lets you model real-world things in code, how to handle tricky logic like ace values that can change, and how to manage a proper betting system across multiple rounds. I am still missing a few rules, but I have the key idea of the game laid out. And finally got to experience the satisfaction of playing a casino card game that I built entirely from scratch.
